THE TIME MIKE LIEBERTHAL WAS INDUCTED ONTO THE WALL OF FAME

Before tonight’s game against the Cardinals, former catcher Mike Lieberthal was inducted onto the Phillies Wall of Fame. A fan favorite, good player, and a good guy during the lean years of 1994-2006, he may have never seen the playoffs, but he was still deserving of the recognition.

Some folks didn’t agree, including Kevin over at Macho Row, and the clown who edited Lieberthal’s Wikipedia page:

I bet Lieby’s Lil Ladies were there.

Here’s some video from after the ceremony, and a few screencaps as well.

And the best part of the night? The Phillies won 3-1 off of a gem from Roy Halladay and key late inning HR from Chase Utley.

Two nerds even brought their catching equipment!
